XCEL Girl's Team
Our mission is to provide a fun and engaging gymnastics experience for all athletes and to provide an equal opportunity to all those who pass through our doors; may each child be able to excel through the JO and XCEL programs with a high standard of excellence in the competitive gymnastics programs and take with them a lifetime of memories and life lessons.
Road to Success
The Xcel Program is a national USA Gymnastics program of gymnastics levels that runs alongside the Junior Olympic (JO) program. The Xcel program is a completely separate, alternate program. There are five divisions in the Xcel program: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond. All of the Xcel divisions have optional rules.
The Xcel program was created as a way to keep gymnasts involved and excited about the sport. The Xcel program allows gymnasts to start competing almost right away, by lowering the skill requirements for the entry levels as compared to the JO track. The Xcel program doesn’t just have basic entry levels, it also has more advanced levels that allow gymnasts to keep competing in the Xcel program as they learn more skills, but without the same pressure as competing in the JO program. The Xcel program is ideal for not only entry-level gymnasts, but also older gymnasts that are looking for a fun way to stay in shape and be involved in the sport. XCEL program is a great addition for high school athletes that are looking to prepare for high school gymnastics or other sports.
The Xcel program is also for gymnasts that have previously competed in the compulsory Jr. Olympic levels and would like to transition to a lower level of commitment but still maintain their gymnastics skills and compete.

All of our competitive team members participate in an annual competition season. This season typically begins December/January and ends April/May. We also hold 1-2 in house competitions for family and friends to watch and support their gymnasts; these in house meets serve as “practice” meets before the competition season begins. XCEL team members can expect to compete in 2-4 competitions plus a qualifying meet.
Silver- Diamond levels compete in our in-house competitions plus 4 in state meets and also have the opportunity to qualify to state.
